Can we charge electric scooters with these chargers? How long will it take?

EP Chargebox and EP Duo support charging of electric two wheelers and three wheelers. It will require a portable charger provided by a vehicle manufacturer. The charging time will vary depending on the battery capacity of the vehicle and the portable charger ratings. Approximately, it may take around 3 to 6 hours to charge the battery.

How about cars?

All our chargers support charging of cars. EP Chargebox and EP Duo will charge them at 3.3KW, just like a regular electrical outlet and will require portable charger provided by the car manufacturer. EP CB7/CB11 will charge your car faster, if supported by your car. For example, Tata Nexon Prime and Mahindra XUV400, can be charged in almost half the time with CB7. CB7 and CB11 come with Type 2 gun and hence they eliminate the need to carry portable charger.

How would the user pay for the charge?

For chargers which are not private, a user will start the charging using Elektropod mobile application. While starting a charging station, the user will ensure sufficient balance in digital wallet of the app. When charging session is complete, billed amount will be deducted from the wallet.

There is no payment involved for using the chargers which are set up for personal use or for private fleet.
